The Park City Community Foundation’s Early Childhood Alliance unites organizations and individuals to support children, parents, and the broader community. They promote affordable, high-quality childcare, provide grants, and strengthen local initiatives.
Mission and Focus Areas
The ECA aims to
Ensure every child is kindergarten-ready
Advocate for sustainable funding for early childhood services
Convene and educate cross-sector stakeholders
Recognizing the critical importance of early childhood development, the ECA works to support children's growth, enable parents to participate in the workforce, and strengthen the local community
Key Programs & Initiatives
Needs-Based Childcare Scholarships: Provides financial assistance to families in Park City and Summit County to reduce childcare costs.
Diaper Distribution: Partners with the Utah Diaper Bank to supply diapers to local nonprofits.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library: Offers free, age-appropriate books monthly to children under five in Summit County.
Parenting Support: Funds programs that welcome new babies and educate parents.
Provider Training: Offers free CPR and First Aid certification for childcare providers in collaboration with local health departments.
Eligibility Criteria
How to Apply
You may qualify for assistance if:
You live or work in Park City or Summit County.
Your household income is below 100% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for Summit County.
Your child is under kindergarten age (i.e., has not turned 5 before September 2).
Your child is enrolled in a regulated childcare provider within Summit County.
For Park City Municipal employees, additional scholarships are available regardless of residency.

Submit Your Application: Complete the online application, providing necessary documentation such as proof of income and residency.
Await Confirmation: Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
