Education

Kimball Art Center offers over 300 art classes annually for ages 3 to 99, including workshops, weekly sessions, drop-in classes, and camps.

  • Scholarships are available for Kimball Art Center classes and educational programs. Awards are based on need and granted first-come, first-served. To apply, complete the form below.

  • Students practice weekly in the studio with guidance from an experienced art educator and support from creative peers. Each session builds skills, confidence, and visual storytelling. By the end, students complete multiple exercises and finished works.

  • Kimball Art Center workshops offer artists of all levels the chance to focus on specific skills while learning from professional artists. Workshops vary in medium and length, from family-friendly holiday projects to multi-day skill-building experiences.

Camps

Drop-ins

  • Kimball Art Center camps are designed around unique themes and art mediums to spark creativity. Camps align with Park City School District breaks in October, April, and summer.

    • Full-day October and April camps are offered for ages 6–12.

    • Summer camps are available for tots (ages 4–5), kids (ages 6–12), and teens (ages 13–17).

    • Themes and mediums vary each session.

  • Kimball Art Center’s Drop-In Art Classes offer dedicated studio time for students to begin, continue, or grow their creative skills. Open to artists as young as age four, classes explore a variety of art mediums.

  • Each school year, selected young artists gain hands-on experience to build their portfolios, connect with local artists, explore creative careers, and develop their skills through projects and critiques.

  • Kimball Art Center partners with local schools to provide a creative space for kids after school.

  • K-12 Art Tours integrate art with core subjects like math, science, reading, writing, history, geography, and language arts, aligning with national curriculum standards.

  • Kimball Art Center provides free weekly art classes for Park City Seniors, with all supplies included. Seniors can sign up at the Senior Center to receive weekly updates on featured projects.
