Winter Activites

    More than just a meet-and-greet, our kennel tour is an inspiring experience. Through the stories of our rescued dogs, we hope to spark hope, passion, and determination. Get hands-on time with our friendly pack and, if available, meet our newest puppies. This all-outdoor mountain tour is a memorable experience for the whole family.

    What to Bring
    Dress in layers and wear closed-toe shoes for dirt trails. Expect friendly dogs to greet you enthusiastically—wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little love on!

Summer Camps

  • Lobos Dog Sledding offers unique summer camps at Rancho Luna Lobos! Campers will bond with a sled dog, participate in team-building activities, and experience hands-on time with the pups. They’ll also run their dog during the safari ride. Our goal is to help kids unplug, connect with nature, and gain inspiration through the dogs’ stories, teaching resilience and perseverance.

    • Recommended for ages 8 and up (Younger kids have joined. It is just up to parents if they think their child can participate in outdoor activities, follow rules, and be around lots of dogs. Great for older kids as well! This camp is inclusive of multiple age ranges….as long as they love dogs! )

  • What to bring

    This is an outdoor activity. Your child needs to be dressed appropriately to be outside in the sun and to run around on mountain trails. 

    - Your child will need a water bottle, and a lunch/snack. 

    - We will have a first aid kit onsite, but we do encourage your child to have a small first aid kit of their own for extra safety.

    - Please remind your child to respect adults, peers, and animals by following rules and treating everyone with kindness. Disrespectful behavior toward campers, counselors, or dogs will not be tolerated. If it continues after correction, your child may be dismissed without a refund.
