You always have the right to remain silent. If you are asserting your right to remain silent, SAY SO OUT LOUD.

Those with immigration status should carry relevant immigration documents at all times. These should be PAPER copies.

Fleeing draws attention, arouses suspicion, and may lead to your detention or arrest. Stay calm.

If you are in police custody or detention, you have the right to speak with your attorney.

Never present false documentation to a government official. Do not lie. It is better to remain silent than to lie.

A valid search warrant must be issued by a court and be signed by a judge.

If an ICE agent comes to your home, you do not have to open the door.

If they say they have a warrant, ask them to slide it under the door or hold it against a window.

If you are detained by police, you have the right to remain silent and you have the right to speak to a lawyer

Immigration warrants do NOT authorize officers to enter your home.
